Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, yet it remains highly stigmatized and under-addressed in Latino communities.
In 2022, the Latino Policy Institute (LPI,) in partnership with the Latino Mental Health Network (LMHN) of Rhode Island and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI,) began a year-long project aimed at understanding and supporting the complex issues that Latino and multicultural providers face within the mental and behavioral health workforce.
