Latino students are one of the fastest-growing groups in Rhode Island schools and colleges. Too many face barriers to graduating. LPI is working to change that.
From underfunded schools to lack of multilingual support to financial barriers in higher education, Latino students in Rhode Island are navigating systems that were not built with them in mind.
We research the specific barriers Latino students face at every stage, early childhood, K-12, and higher education. We take that research to state lawmakers and school districts. And we advocate for the funding and policies that make a real difference.
